Whatever the one is that my toon is displaying. Why?
Because I earned it. 98% of the time with henchies.

Henchies are 100% better than 99% of all pugs.

The most respectful title would be the Hero title. This title shows skill unlike the other ones. The other titles can be obtained easily if one puts alot of time and effort into it.

Most respected: Drunkard (because this would be a person that probably plays just like me)

Any of the cartographer titles at 90% or higher are also deserving of some respect.

No respect at all for anyone that displays a PvP title in a PvE area, same goes for a PvE title in a PvP area. Your rank is meaningless in a mission town, so what you can farm fame all day or you can hold halls all day, doesnt mean you know anything about the mission at hand. Likewise the same goes for the guy standing around in HA, TA, or RA, your PvE title shows nothing of your experience in the arenas.

I'm willing to dispute that.

It should be 94%.

Seriously, I've been in some damn GOOD PUGs and a LOT of moronic ones.

I don't care for any of them really, I just think some are nice to have...

Gladiator should just be renamed to "holy crap, I can monk for touch rangers". And with the odd occasion of coming across a good guild team in Team Arenas, which is very rare.. it's not to hard to pick up 30 - 40 wins if you just try. I have the gladiator title, it's about as meaningless as the subjugating hero one, extremely easy to grind.

I'd respect the Champion title in the vast majority of cases, though I don't really need to see titles to respect the people with them. And in my opinion that title is way way too exclusive. I think there should be a lesser GVG title for people who aren't in the top ~10 guilds.

i don't really see what's so great about skill hunter... my monk has 9 skills... largely because I don't care to cap a lot of the elites because I just won't use them.... the only 2 elites my monk has touched recently are Mantra of Recall and Blessed Light. What does it prove if I cap star burst for him... and all the other elites I'll never even look at for a monk

Treasure Hunter, Identifier, Drunkard, Protector of *... sure they're nice and a bit of fun... but they hold no prestige

Crap, knew I was doing something wrong. Hero title doesn't take time and effort, what does it? Oh, skill. Guess skill comes about without time or effort, huh?

The PvE titles aren't a measure of incredible achievement, but of player standard. You can't become a full skill hunter (3) without a substantial knowledge of the game. You don't need to have the title to be good, but it's a solid insurance of capability, which is the whole point.

As someone that does mostly pve

Cantha/Tyria Protect - To actually do all the missions and bonus

The map titles - You like to explore. When I started GW, I loved being in pug's that did nothing but, "hey, let's see what's out there".

Skill capping in my opinon doesn't show much "teamwork" it can easily be done with hentchies....though it takes alot of time. Same with the mapping titles.

I'd go for the "protectors" titles if nothing else you know they have been through the mission before and know what to expect.

No, it doesn't. It rather means you know not to trust Xennon's maps alone, as quite a few of them are inaccurate or incomplete.

Some say its useless but I have been working on getting the Elite Skill Trainer title. I am now at a grand total of 50 Elite skills captured. This is taking up a lot of time and cash but I have enjoyed the challenge so far. I usually end up using henchs because most of the time if you join a cap group people will leave as soon as they get the one they want and not finish helping the rest of the group get theirs. The hardest time I have in when I go into Frozen Forest or Mineral springs. For an ele they present the most challenge IMO. I capped the 3 monk Elites in Snake dance last night and it was easy compared to the other 2 areas.

One may ask what does chasing this title teach you? Some say it teaches nothing. I say it teaches you to watch monster groups and their patterns. It teaches you how to pull effectively. It teaches aggro control. But most importantly it teaches you NEVER to just rush in anywhere or you will be dead.

The other Title I am working on is the Tyria missions title. I was able to do the bonus at Abaddons mouth the other day with henchs. It was a real challenge and took me a long time but I did it! Now on to Hells Precipice bonus and I will be nearly complete

I think for PVE its definately the protector titles as for the Hero title, we had a Rank 9 Ranger in our PUG in Cantha who brought Frozen soil. Needless to say we did not fare very well on that mission. So Hero title = PVP experience, Protector = PVE experience (note the word experience used here and not necessarily skill)

as for what I respect most, the Champion title

In terms of respect, Kind of a big deal is the obvious one, but I have yet to spot those. The one that I do see occasionally and that will definitly get you a place in my group is the Protector title. Anyone can complete the storyline by being a leech on a party, but geting master all shows that you contributed something as well.

Drunkard, Wisdom, Explorer, Skill Hunter, Friend of are all really a sign of dedication, not a sign of skill.

Survivor is the one that will make it less likely to be invited by me.

All PvP titles are a different story, there champion would get the most respect from me.

I would respect the Champion Title.

Legendary Survivor
Granted to a character who has reached 1,337,500 experience points without dying.
Do you think Anet thought of making it leet? ^^

Champion or higher - 50 wins in GvG with both teams being 1500 Rating or higher? Difficult.
